Supporting RLSS UK the drowning prevention charity

Home Branch/Clubs Awards Trainer Support & Archives Club Links

Welcome to the Liverpool & District Branch Website we are part of Lifesavers the national charity which has thousands of members across the UK and Ireland - from youth members and individual adult members to trainers or corporate members. The Branch was formed in 1930.

Our members ALL promote and help to save lives - either in the water or on land. This is through supporting the wide variety of courses and activities designed to teach skills and techniques to make a difference when it counts. Activities range from Save A Baby’s Life classes & Community Life Support to training youngsters in competitive lifesaving as a sport. You could complete a Life Support Award and the flagship Survive and Save Awards which are pool and open water based and include sport.

Doing your Duke of Edinburgh's Award or similar we can provide opportunities to assist in completion of sections.

Check out the clubs affiliated to the RLSS in the Branch Area.
